    Xbox error: 0x87e00005


    For the last two weeks, whenever I have tried to install or update games, from disk, and on the cloud, I have received this error message (Something has interrupted your installation - 0x87e00005). However, this is only for some games, for instance, the
    xbox one games Overwatch, and Rainbow six siege do not download, whereas Minecraft: xbox one version does.

    This does not just apply to xbox one games. Toy soldiers (the original) downloads fine, but not the sequel (toy soldiers-cold war).

    I have tried everything online, even going so far as to factory reset the console, to no effect. I installed an external hard drive, but the problem persisted.

    Support told me to send in my xbox for repair (at $150), but I do not feel that this is a hardware (disk drive) issue.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    Need help. Trying to download an update to Lego Dimensions. Keeps saying "Installation stopped. When refreshed, it went back to downloading (error 0x87E00005). Kept stopping and starting.
