Now, please try to perform upgrade in place to see if the issue persists.

I understand how frustrating it is. Let's try some troubleshooting.

1. Fo ensures, please uninstall Xbox app if it's installed on your PC.

2. Try resetting the Windows Update components.

3. Right-click on the Windows icon at the bottom of the screen and click on “Windows PowerShell(Admin)“.

4. Type the command mentioned below on the screen and press Enter.

Get-AppxPackage -allusers Microsoft.WindowsStore | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

5. Try performing an In-place Upgrade. Performing this can repair broken operating system files while your personal files, and installed applications, will not be removed.

Do you mean this ?

1. Stop Windows Update Services
   
2. Delete the qmgr*.dat files.
   
3. Flush the SoftwareDistribution and catroot2 folders
   
4. Reset the BITS service and the Windows Update service to the default security descriptor
   
5. Re-register the BITS files and the Windows Update related DLL files
   
6. Delete incorrect Registry values
   
7. Reset Winsock
   
8. Restart Windows Update Services.
   

If yes, I am sorry but I do know how to navigate in my PC to execute these commands. Sorry! :-(
