Xbox Error 0x80040900 on Star Wars Battlefront 2 (New Version)

Hello, I am having some difficulty when trying to play multiplayer in the new version of SW BF 2. Everytime I select a multiplayer mode (Ex: Galactic Assault), my screen turns darker and after about 30 seconds a message appears on my screen; "Wait
a full minuite then try again. If you keep seeing this, turn of your xbox by holding the power button for 10 seconds. Then turn it back on and try it again." I have tried this multiple times but it still doesn't work. I checked my internet status and it says
my network is good but their are some xbox service issues; "Sorry there is a problem on our side. To see which services are affected, check the current service status in Settings>Network or go to Xbox.com/status. I went on the website and it says there is
a problem with buying items, redeeming codes, or downloading purchases but I don't see how this affects me not being able to play multiplayer mode. I would really appreciate if I got some help.

Thank you for posting on the XBox forums. I'd be happy to help.

The services are all up and running right now and it seems you have done the hard reset already a few times. I recommend trying that once more but also unplug your power cord from the console and outlet for a few minutes to let the power supply cycle. If
the game continues to give you that error, you will need to try out a
soft factory reset.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select System > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.

Make sure to select "Keep my games & apps" and have the correct account login information plus your Wi-Fi password ready if you connect wireless because you will need to re-add the account's that were on the Xbox and re-connect to your
network during the reset. Re-installing the game would be the next step after a factory reset if the game still does not work.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention here on the forums. I understand you're getting an Error Code when trying to play Star Wars Battlefront 2 online are we talking about the Xbox One Version of the original Xbox game? Check out the Error
Code look up results of your error code and try some of the listed steps to resolve the issue.

I had the same problem - it did work when I reinstalled , but another update today has stopped the game from working again .

Try to do a Factory Reset and choose
keep all games and apps option to not delete your games installed.

Let us know if it fixed.
