    Xbox enrolled in beta, update installed and was supposed to restart, now will not turn on.


    Hello,

    I have tried the reset procedures (even left everything unplugged overnight). I plug in power to the brick and the amber light comes on, then as soon as I plug it into the Xbox One, the light shuts off. According to the troubleshooting, this means the brick
    is bad, and they don't offer the brick anymore; which means I have to upgrade???

    First off, the odds of the brick going bad after and update and during the restart is astronomical. I fail to see how my the power and everything is working fine, and then the box needs to restart, and won't come back on, is caused by a power supply. I would
    appreciate any help, in troubleshooting this.

    Have you contacted customer support about a replacement power brick?

    Also be sure to post about this in the beta program forums as there as someone may be able to help you since this happened with a beta update.

    Hi there,

    just to be sure. Did you do the following steps in that exact order:

    1. Check if there is an update for the Xbox Insiders Hub on PC
    2. Un-enroll from the Minecraft Beta via the Xbox Insiders Hub
    3. Uninstall the beta version for Minecraft
    4. To be sure wait a couple of hours (or a day)
    5. Restart the PC during that wait time.
    6. Try to install Minecraft again via your Library on the store, make sure to select the standard version and not the Beta version, in the situation that multiple versions show up. As alternate option try to install the version from store in case installing
      from library doesn't work.

    I already bought minecraft but whenever i try to login it sais its a beta
    Please follow these steps...

    And if you're already "Enrolled" in the Beta Program for Minecraft, then please ignore steps 1-3.

    --1. make sure you are still Enrolled in the Beta through the Xbox Insider Hub.

    --2. Make sure Minecraft is installed.

    --3. Once you are Enrolled in the Beta and have Minecraft installed, please follow the next steps.

    --4. Unenroll from the Beta through the Xbox Insider Hub.

    --5. Once you have Unenrolled from the Beta, now uninstall Minecraft from your Xbox One console.

    --6. After you Uninstalled Minecraft, hold down the "Power Button" on your console until it completely powers off.

    --7. Wait 30 seconds after it's powered off, to power the console back on.

    --8. Now power on your Xbox One console, and then Reinstall Minecraft again through the Microsoft Store if you don't see it in your "Ready To Install" section.

    --9. You will no longer have, your console registered in the Beta Program for Minecraft... Enjoy! 😎
