I know I'm not the first and I know I won't be the last to say it but xbox enforcement needs a better way to be reached other then the web page they currently use. The UI is very poor coming from a software developer like Microsoft, the questionair is full
of questions that are completely subjective but yet have only one right answer, (ie. yes in my opinion the enforcement team is extremely annoying) and even though your supposed to be told why you have an enforcement action their reasoning is either so vague
it could pertain to anything or not pertain to your situation at all. Microsoft really needs to rethink this whole system and get fire the current enforcement team for negligence if their even played employees at all. To me it seems more like the same structure
as the YouTube Heroes system that everyone was against. There is literally no fair way to debate your enforcement action and I have yet to hear of anyone actually getting an appeal on their enforcement even when they have done nothing wrong. At the very least
if actual people review these enforcements initially they could be a little more specific as to their reasoning. Imagion if the legal system worked like this, no one would be safe from the prejudgment they receive. I know the system will never be perfect but
it can definitely be a lot closer then the current unfair cold shoulder we currently have. At the very least there needs to be a phone number to call and talk to an actual person. I get that enforcement call lines would be a very negative atmosphere but that
comes with the territory. Maybe hire some people that can actually handle the negativity better then the delicate little snowflakes that currently seem to make up the enforcement team. On a side note why is trash talk get you a communications ban? Online gaming
was basically built on trash talk. The whole point of must online games is being better then others and that draws out people's competitive side. What if NFL players got suspended for 2 weeks just for a little trash talk, nobody would be left to play in the
second week. Online multiplayer should not be subject to an E rating especially for the competitive games. If you don't wanna hear someone talk trash mute them, if they message you block them. Now if they threaten you to hurt you in real life then thats where
the report button comes in. Just because someone called you trash at a video game or says you play like a, In put derogatory statment, isn't going to cause you harm and if it hurts your poor little feelings so much then don't play or just ignore and block/mute
them. I can't tell you how many times I was called out in a hateful message I would have been happy to respond to because that use to be part of the fun but now I'm so afraid that it's just a trap so they can report me and get me suspended. Lets face it in
Amarica we have freedom of speech (of whats left of it) because you just cant controle what people are going to say. Ban the cheaters, hackers, and all those foolish enough to make real life threats, but leave to playfully trash talk alone. And for god sake
give us a number to call and a fair chance to appeal these Over pretentious enforcement actions.

    :)

First of all to get to your point about freedom of speech here is a direct quote from the Constitution "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging
the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances" the only thing it says is that congress shall pass no law against its citizens rights to freedom
of speech it does not say a private entity like Microsoft can not put into their terms of use/code of conduct (which you agreed to abide by when you signed up for the service) Rules that state if you break the code of conduct you could get suspended
Here is a link to the code of conduct and the questions to the questionnaire if you read the code of conduct the answers are there that's why they give you a chance to read
the code of conduct before taking the questionnaire.

as far as not doing anything wrong if a violation of the code of conduct did not happen then these people would not be suspended when a report is made it goes to the enforcement team they investigate it and if there was a violation of the code of conduct
then that's when the suspension is put onto the account if there was no violation then they do not put a suspension on the account.

  5. suspensions for nothing absolutely happen all the time and are upheld because no one on the enforcement team actually take the time to review the cases. For example I have been suspended b4 for calling someone a word that use to mean happy and was even said
in a children's program when I was growing up. It was the only message I had sent for months so I know it was the message that got me suspended and the reasoning the enforcement was upheld said I Threatened another user which clearly never happened. Proof
no one ever actually reviewed this case. Defend them ad the broken system all you want you are just part of the problem. As for the questionair yes they refer you to the code of conduct but also like in my earlier example questions that are opinion based are
asked and force you to lie about your opinion so the delicate snowflakes on the enforcement team don't feel like the wast of time they really are.

But you never a dress the main point here, can we get a number to reach an actual person because this current system is completely broken.

  7. it's the context in which you use a word.

If you were to walk into a bar, see a notice that read:

    No Profanity

    No Trash Talk

    No Harassment

Then after buying a drink, you break a rule, would you complain as you are shown the way out?

The code of conduct is clear and simple to understand. Why rough someone up for having a bad game. It has nothing to do with what online gaming was built around (I have been online gaming for more years than I wish to think about) though a very small majority
seem to think it acceptable behaviour.

You do not get suspended for nothing.

From what you said you were suspended for a valid reason.

Any report is thoroughly investigated before any action is taken.

A phone number would just be spammed & abused by people who think they are above the rules & wont take responsibility for their actions.

The system is not broken & works perfectly fine.
