Xbox Enforcement

Hello, i recently bought an Xbox one from craiglist. it apparently had a permanent ban on it becuase when i tried to create a new account after it was reset, and i bought an xbox live member ship i have no communication. i came from PSN hoping to join my
friends but so far i can even communicate with them through message or voice chat. in addition my account has no offenses on it 100 clean. please help thank you

One thing that we're maybe forgetting...

Why do you think the xbox one has mandatory checks on games within 24hours and Sony doesn't? It's blatantly obvious Sony won't enforce the same level DRM as the xbox one.

Have you seen the "Enforcement United" programme too? Community moderators, whose reviews presumably carry more weight than your average member.

If the console is banned then you need to get your money back.

Console bans are permanent & never reversed,even if you bought it 2nd hand.

This is a risk you take when buying a pre owned console.

 

Craigslist is the last place you should buy a console from. If you're going to buy used, at least go somewhere like eBay or Gamestop where you have the option to return it if something isn't right. MS does not lift console bans, so it looks like you've wasted
your money.

 

If you go to a AAA pawn shop you can get a used X1 cheaper than even ebay or gamestop. They'll even connect it and show you that it isn't banned.

Don't be afraid to buy used even on craigslist as used will play the same games as New but at a fraction of the cost. Just make sure to have the seller connect it to XBL and sign in Before buying.

You can keep or sell the banned console for parts on Ebay, just be sure to list it as "4 parts only. No returns" and it will sell.

 

I've purchased several 360's and plenty of other electronics used before. I'd still never buy one from Craigslist. Even if it's not banned today, it could be tomorrow and you have no recourse. Craigslist is great for furniture and things like that, but when
it comes to electronics (especially something like an Xbox that can be banned), I want that guarantee. I've also never seen electronics in a pawn shop or flea market for less than what I can find them on ebay for.

 

I've bought many used electronics and games at flee markets. Just bought a 6" bench grinder for 5 bucks, plugged it in and tried to stop it with a bar of steel.. It held up very good. So I paid 10 more bucks for a polishing kit and resurfaced a few scratched
360 games I picked up for 2 bucks.

So for less than 20 bucks I can not only grind and polish metal, I can also polish away a ring in a game dish that was burned into the disc bc someone moved their 360 with the disc inside.

But I'm mechanicaly inclined so in most instances. That gives me an edge over your tipical used electronics shopper.

 

How about some proper grammar and maybe capitalize your I's, unless the letter i is some new lifeform or something.
