    I have been banned/ enforced upon but the official Xbox website doesn't say that I have been banned/ enforced upon even the bot says I haven't been banned/ enforced upon,
    so I would like to know why I'm banned and if I'm not meant to be banned/ enforced upon can my ban/ enforcement be lifted?

    One thing that we're maybe forgetting...

    Why do you think the xbox one has mandatory checks on games within 24hours and Sony doesn't? It's blatantly obvious Sony won't enforce the same level DRM as the xbox one.

  5. the thing is that it only says I'm banned/ enforced upon on my Xbox but nothing else. i also looked on the website and it only has my old ban/

  6. Is it saying that basically that your console has been banned as an example is it saying

    “Your console is banned. This console has been banned for Terms of Use violations. To protect the Xbox service and its members, Microsoft does not provide details about specific console bans. For more information out console bans, visit xbox.com/xboxone/consoleban.”

    Console bans will not show up under any profile you sign into on the website because you can have multiple profiles on the console.

    Or like when you try and start a party does it say something along the lines

    Try something else because of your past behavior you are not able to do this right now?

    For profile suspensions you would need to make sure you are signed into with the email and password for the account that has the suspension on it at enforcement.xbox.com

    If you made a looking for a group post that wasn't allowed you only get a message from xbox that you are enforced but you can't find it on the enforment site that you are enforced

    How do you know you have been banned? Did you receive a notification, do you get a message when you try to do something, etc.?

  10. After reading all of the comments I have taken them to heart and used them to try to find out the problem, the account most likely isn't banned because I haven't tampered with my console all I have done is unplugged my Xbox Kinect and noting else i have
    also trying to play games on my console on a different account and it allows me to play games compared to my actual account, and yes i have signed into Xbox enforcement with my Xbox account. I have also seen how I know that I have been banned/ enforced upon
    is when I try to any kind of messaging anyone and when I turn on my Xbox it notifies me.

    Hey Brendan thanks for keeping us in the loop and for the patience!

    We suggest, if it hasn't already been done, to remove and re-add the profile to the console, if it doesn't work then we would suggest a reset of the console since the problem might be on the actual OS of the console so we would suggest a
    Soft Factory Reset
    (while keeping games and apps) IF AND ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA IS MET:

    • There is a stable network connection.
    • The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)

    Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup lets do manual setup. Give it a shot and let us know of any changes!

    Thanks for reaching out and keeping us updated! We understand this can be frustrating and confusing. I read over the comments and saw that the console is the only place that says there is a communication ban. I would say, try to sign into another account
    on the console and see if it provides the same message. Try to sign into your profile on our Website, Xbox.com and see if it says the same thing. Visit

    Xbox Messages
    and let us know if it says there is a communication ban. Make sure the correct account is signed in.

    Just to add to what the others said, you also have the option to check with the phone or chat support through: to inquire if there is an enforcement action on your account and for how long. They can't assist with the enforcement actions, however they
    should be able to inform you on the actions present in your account: Contact Us | Xbox Support

    I'm sorry to hear about any issues you may be having due to an enforcement action.
    I do understand the date it was issued is the blocker in submitting a case review. Unfortunately as this is forum support, you will not be able to reach the enforcement team here, and
    we wouldn't be able to assist further.

    You're welcome to create a new account (which I do see you state to have made this one) and use it to play on Xbox as this is a new account with no enforcement action.
