    Xbox Enforcement

Thanks to the Xbox Enforcement team, once again I am voice banned again. No warning, no reason, just you are unable to talk to friends and teammates. It is absolutely ridiculous considering the fact that I cannot directly contact the Xbox Live Enforcement
Team, and they have that much power over my own account! I have supported Xbox for years, dumping money on membership subscriptions, hardware, games, add-ons etc. This is how they treat their customers? "Oh yeah thanks for all the money btw, now your account
is suspended and there's nothing you can do about it." Except maybe receive a message from an enforcement team official saying your account's been suspended and it's being upheld for calling that one guy a b*tch earlier who noobtubed you? They sure did help make
the Xbox community a better place! Not to mention that time you encountered trolls who got off the hook completely unscathed after ruining your game, team killing you, and reporting you as if you're the source of the problem. Why are people like me, just casual
gamers, mostly feeling the brunt of this? Why don't they focus on the problems that really matter in the Xbox community like cheaters, hackers, scammers and extreme cases of toxicity? Are these cases too rare for the enforcements teams liking, making casual
gamers who toss a couple swears here and there in the heat of the moment an easier target? I remember the days back on 360 when my entire message feed was filled with scammers and death threats, and a simple block would suffice. Now you can't even message
recent players without being reported to hell and suspended from your account for an unruly amount of time. And they do this as if I'm going to learn from my mistakes and undergo some magical transformation in 2 weeks, becoming an absolute morale being. If
anything this instead makes me want to say "**** YOU Microsoft", throw my Xbox One out the window, and switch to a different platform. In reality no company should treat their customer like this as if they do not not have control over their own account, as
well as making it near impossible for them to make any sort of contact with the enforcement team. It is perfectly clear that I will no longer be supporting Xbox.

    :)

One thing that we're maybe forgetting...

Why do you think the xbox one has mandatory checks on games within 24hours and Sony doesn't? It's blatantly obvious Sony won't enforce the same level DRM as the xbox one.

First As long as your follow the code of conduct which can be found here

    https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US/home/codeofconduct

You would not have to worry about being suspended the best thing to do if you encounter someone who is being toxic, cheating, or anything like that is to report the other person, block them, and mute them.

That way the enforcement team can look into their actions and if it violated the code of conduct then the enforcement team will suspend them.

It is your actions and your actions alone that violate the code of conduct that got you suspended.

The other platforms have pretty much verbatim the same Code of conduct At least microsoft gives you a chance to appeal your suspension were the other platforms do NOT even give you that chance. on their platform once a suspension is handed down there is
    no appealing that suspension.

Yeah, but I called someone's operator a "<Edited due to profanity>" in r6 and got voice banned. My problem is the fact that the enforcement team will uphold the suspension solely based on the use of profanity and not look into the context of what
    is actually being said here.

  9. That is part of the code of conduct if you use profanity no matter what the context is you are subject to an enforcement action.

  10. Hey there, willkilberg

I get your frustrated by this. The best thing to do is either ignore someone that swears or insults you, or report it. Many people fall into the trap of insulting someone back. This does not make you, nor them, any better. It puts you down to their level.
If they report it, then the Enforcement team will act upon it. They will only look at what has been reported. So if it was a message, then the chances are they are only seeing the one message that has been reported.

Some people do this to try and provoke others. When they get a reaction, they will report them. So the best thing to do is to report them, block them if needed and move on.

With that been said, the Xbox Enforcement team must deal with a lot of complaints by people on Xbox Live. Some are genuine complaints and others are SPAM complaints (Reporting because someone has won them at a game). Rest assured they fully investigate cases,
but they do have a lot of these complaints to look through. Besides, no one really knows how the system works, as the Enforcement team and Microsoft like to keep the Abuse policies and practices private and internal.

    Regards,

PS - The Code of Conduct applies here as well. Please don't use Profanity here as these forums are intended for Children 13+ Xbox Enforcement :)
