I got banned for I’m assuming saying kys. The problem is kys can mean many things and in my case it meant kiss your self so if saying that’s is against the rules I would love to know. But if I got banned because some kid decided to interpret it in the worst
way that’s not it my fault at all and if Xbox is just going to keep me banned because of this then they are absolutly retarded. So I would love to be unbanned I a am sorry i tried congratulating a kid an it turned into me getting banned

Why do you think the xbox one has mandatory checks on games within 24hours and Sony doesn't? It's blatantly obvious Sony won't enforce the same level DRM as the xbox one.

Kys means kiss yourself? Who does that? :-/

 

If you want to prevent misinterpretations of your abbreviations, then write them out completely.

If you google search "KYS", the first two hits are definitions on Urban Dictionary and Wikipedia, that state that "kys" stands for "kill yourself", and is therefore a violation of the Code of Conduct.

So it IS YOUR fault for using an ambiguous acronym, for which only you seem to have a different meaning.

 

first thing on google is a translation from danish meaning kiss, then there are a few more things most of them saying which joking abbreviation used between friends and some saying it means kiss your self therefore I a man not violating the code of conduct
in this instance. Just because in our world today’s most people think of it as something very negative because our world is very negetive today doesn’t mean you guys can just assume I was being me being negetive also if you read my message to the guy you could
tell it wasn’t bad bad intentions

 

You're grasping at straws trying to get a "harmless" meaning from your message. You can't imagine how many people are getting caught writing something offensive violating the CoC, and then trying to be like "Oh, I didn't mean it like that!"

If you're so hell bent on claiming you meant something entirely different, then simply write out the full meaning of your message to avoid any ambiguity.

Face it: "kys" is primarily used as an abbreviation that means "kill yourself". See the attached picture for a standard Google search.

 

I would suggest you to not use abbreviations of this kind in the future in order to avoid suspensions. Rule of the thumb is something is dangerously open to interpretation refrain from saying it!
