    So my old gamertag Baertraped was recently changed for a terms violation. My question what did I violate to cause this? And why do I have to pay to change my gamertag when MICROSOFT changed my gamertag not me?

    One thing that we're maybe forgetting...

    Why do you think the xbox one has mandatory checks on games within 24hours and Sony doesn't? It's blatantly obvious Sony won't enforce the same level DRM as the xbox one.

    I have had my gamertag changes as well. This is utter nonsense as the gamertag was generated by Microsoft when I bought my day 1 Xbox one and had issues with my email on my 360 account so started fresh.

    Why would an enforcement be necessary on an auto generated gamertag 4 years ago? it was and I can't see how that is offensive if the G was a C I'd understand. I was going to by an Xbox X in new year but I'll move to Sony after this

    That is not a auto generated gamertag & anything that sounds like profane words or phrases is against the code of conduct.

    By all means get a PlayStation if you want.No one here cares,Microsoft don't care as they already have your money so it makes no difference to them.

    Just remember the rules are the same on PSN & you don't get as many chances if you break their rules,you get banned.

    Yes, the Enforcement United program ended a while back maybe over a year ago if I'm not mistaken.
