Xbox Enforcement Team

So there is a division of Microsoft called the Enforcement Team. They do not have a phone number. They do not have an email address. They do not have a link available for any sort of communication what so ever. And they have the ability at any moment in
time to Ban your fully paid up subscription to their servers. I received an email this morning that my account was being suspended for 24 hours. Minimal stuff, I know. But the fact that I use my Xbox live account in connection with HBO NOW and Netflix, this
issue is costing me money. I need to have access. I can handle a one day ban but the fact that I chatted online with a representative for 30 mins for him to tell me there is not a single communications path to the enforcement team, that is really bothering
me.

Let's say you pay your monthly water bill. You use water when you like because you have paid the company offering the service money for said service. And all of a sudden, cause a random neighbor decides to tell the water company you were using water, they
shut off your water. You're obviously in shock and want to know what happened. You call the water company and a customer service agent tells you "Sorry, we don't take calls about why we turned off your water. We don't have any one in that department that talks
with our clients about why your water was shut off. Deal with it please."

I feel like I am taking crazy pills. Why is a company treating a 6+ year gaming veteran this way? I waited on hold for 20 mins and the manager Craig says "Yeah sorry, we don't have any way to contact them." DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE? We have the ability to
turn off what you already paid for with no explanation and no reason.

I bet PlayStation doesn't do this mickey mouse crap...

Meaningless Suspension

The Xbox enforcement team does not life ban lightly, does anyone else use your account?

 

One thing that we're maybe forgetting...

Why do you think the xbox one has mandatory checks on games within 24hours and Sony doesn't? It's blatantly obvious Sony won't enforce the same level DRM as the xbox one.

 

This is the only way of contacting the enforcement team. You would have to file a case review but for a 24 hour ban I doubt that option will be available. Don't Shoot the messenger. enforcement.xbox.com/home

 

Short question. How come can i get banned when i adress a player that is playing unfair and unsportly with milder language then what is used in GAME chat, except in a message? Is there an auto report button for the people that think playing by the rules
isn't for them, whenever they get a message?

So because the games/Xbox does not have solid enough rules or ways to enforce them, i get banned because i message the people breaking them. What happens the third time you get banned? You are making it to hard for the good guys, the great players that don't
want to cheat and break rules to win!

Best thing to do when you run into a player that is doing something that breaks the Code of Conduct, (www.xbox.com/.../CodeOfConduct) don't engage the player(s), file a report though
your console and mark the player(s) as avoid.

By not engaging the user, you reduce the chances of a player reporting you for a Code of Conduct violation.

The best thing to do in this case is to just report the player, and don't message them at all. Don't put yourself at risk of being reported for language in a message.

 

Of course not doing anything will be the safest, but then people probably won't notice anything. How many reports are needed to ban someone for being unsportsly? A lot more than communications probably. And something else with this ban, i can't use Skype
on my Xbox. Its Skype, not gamechat or party where you could just join in and talk, this should be changed.

 

It only takes 1 valid complaint to suspend/ban someone. The amount of complaints doesn't matter. All that matters is if the person has done something to violate the code of conduct/terms and conditions.

 

But what is valid then? A player racing in Forza that gets reported, how does xbox know how its valid or not?
