Xbox Enforcement Team

I believe that the enforcement or code of conduct need a serious rework. It seems overly sensitive and geared to an immature audience. I would like to know others opinions on this.

The Xbox enforcement team does not life ban lightly, does anyone else use your account?

 

Massive issue with the Xbox enforcement team

So, recently I have been permanently banned by the Xbox enforcement team, I am not here to complain that I didn't deserve the ban or that I didn't do anything wrong, I deserve it. Anyways I have a pretty big complaint about what happens to your account after you have been permanently banned, when you try to sign into your account it just simply will not let you sign into it, not bad right that's part of a ban? But when you make a whole new account and try to play any games that you downloaded on your banned account you can't play them. This is listed in their Terms Of Service (TOS) that if you get permanently banned you forfeit all licence you owned with those games. This is an issue because Microsoft does not have the right to just take away content that you purchased because you broke their rules. That is like the police taking ownership of your house and all of your possessions because you got sent to jail. They should not be able to do that, they should not be able to take away all of your belongings and your hard earned money or money you have saved up over the months, I have around 30 Dollars left on that account with the 400 Dollars worth of games, skins, and other downloadable content I have purchased over the years and something needs to be done about this, they can't just simply say that it's written down in their TOS and that is the rules because as far as I know this isn't legal in the United States at least.

Hi, I don't see an issue. When you create an Xbox account, you have to agree to the terms of use and code of conduct. The code of conduct lays out a rough guide of how we should treat each other and what to not do. By agreeing, you accepted that if reported
and found to have violated the code of conduct, you will get punished.

Couldn't agree anymore, The policy is mostly broken. The ones that use it are the ones who it was designed for (Kids) (Young Adults). A good way to combat this would be to create a Email for every game you play on and just share your Xbox Live gold to that
console so you can play online with all the extra accounts.

The most common type of person who might reply to these type of forum posts are Xbox Ambassadors (AKA free labor, AKA Casual Gamer) and or Mods. You might be better off making a statement on Reddit over the Xbox forums, They're a complete mess, you won't get
that many true comments sadly, just biased people who work or think they work for MS.

Another point on this topic, I find it odd people pay to use the online service that was mad to balance mean people from the nice, but how it really gets used is the money goes to RND to design new controller skins while enforcement just uses an outdated computer algorithm
that just uses number of reports.

Please for the love of video games, stop calling free labor gamers as Ambassadors, It's getting silly MS.

 

Most ambassadors are not casual gamers. I personally take offence in you calling me that

Personally I feel that it's basic and to the point. I don't see a need for a rework. I do understand that some immature audiences troll others in a way to try and cause them to break the guidelines though.

Not so well in my favor which is ok, considering I did indeed break the code of conduct. I am just quite aggravated that the other person got off with no punishment.

 

Did you report the other gamer. Also advertising the fact your playing on an alt to avoid a ban wouldn't be a good idea

I respect your opinion, I just believe that there should be some rules that take into account who started a fight and not punishing people for answering accordingly
