So i wake up this morning and i have a message of enforcement action . Apparently i engaged in inappropriate communications so i check my email follow the link and it tells me the enforcement action is between 25/9/2017 ( 5:22 AM ) and 26/9/2017 ( 9:22
AM ). Its only a day not to bad but i still want to know why and what evidence they have to support the ban . I rang the us support team and the uk team no one could help me or give me a reason why , because its only a 24hr ban they said i cant file a case
review but the times staded on the enforcement is just over 24hrs . I have been an xbox player for ten years now with a good reputation , never had a ban / suspension , but the fact that no evidence has been shown is a joke you cant do this for no reason please
show me proof . The fact you cant speak to someone on the phone from the enforcement team is silly to say the least (even the customer support person agreed) . all im saying is show your evidence .... stupid system

    :)

    Really enforcement team

So basically I was playing overwatch in comp and I was playing Orisa and my teammates starting spamming me messages to switch heroes and I refused ( I was doing the best on team). So after the match this one guy and all his friends reported me, and I just
got a message from Xbox enforcement saying that I'm subject to punishment or something like that. Come on xbox you guys got to review this stuff more.

    I'll give you a reason.

Your custom profile pic is against the Code of Conduct. Pictures fall under the communication category.

Serve your suspension and move on. Oh and I would change your profile picture if I were you. Unless of course you want another suspension. And FYI it won't be for 24 hours the next time.

    CONTENT IN XBOX LIVE
What is considered content in Xbox Live?

Content is anything you create, share, use, or promote that another person could see or hear or otherwise experience, like Gamertags, profile information, in-game content, and videos.

What are examples of content that is prohibited in Xbox Live?

(Note: the examples below are just a few examples of Content prohibited by the Microsoft Code of Conduct. Just because something isn't on this list doesn't mean it's OK.)

    • Content involving illegality. For example:
      • Gambling, piracy, child pornography, obscenity, or criminal activity
      • Underage drinking, illegal drug use, or socially irresponsible behavior connected with drug use (e.g., drinking and driving)
      • Terrorism (e.g., bomb or other weapon making instructions)
      • Information that could help identity thieves (e.g., government-issued identification number)
    • Content that could harm or harass a person, including yourself, or an animal. For example:
      • Profane words or phrases
      • Suicide-related content
      • (Note: the examples below are just a few examples of the type of behavior prohibited by the Microsoft Code of Conduct. Just because something isn't on this list doesn't mean it's OK.)
      • Negative speech (including hate speech or threats of harm) directed at people who belong to a group, including groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, language, gender, age, disability, veteran status, religion, or sexual orientation/expression
      • "Noise", which is excessive speech intended to interfere with or disrupt another person's or group's ability to enjoy a game or app on Xbox Live
      • Content showing or promoting animal abuse
    • Content that is controversial. For example:
      • Sexual, provocative, pornographic, or adult content

  5. I really miss the days where the enforcement team would give the reason people were banned, a lot of the time in a rather hilarious manner. It's amazing how many people who claimed "I didn't do nothing. Honest guv'nor" actually turned out to be modders or
enjoyed mentioning how the mothers of other gamers enjoyed carnal knowledge of farm animals.

Most people know exactly what they've done. They just don't like to admit that their behaviour is the reason for the enforcement action.

Lets say it was the OP's custom profile pic that got him/her a 24 hour ban. Enforcement not being specific as to what warranted the 24 hour ban means that the OP is guaranteed to be banned again, unless he/she can figure it out all on there own.

Point is, enforcement should be very specific as to why this or that ban and STOP hanging people without showing the individual the specific evidence that warrented the ban.

We have all read in these very forums where a simple coms ban can lead to a console ban, so if it was a game pic that this OP a 24 hour ban, wouldn't it be disingenious of enforcement NOT to have said. "It was your gamer pic that you banned."??

They have proof. A lot of it. Microsoft collects our personal information. Xbox One uses Microsoft's servers. Microsoft gathers your usage data. The Code of Conduct is written concisely and good enough. If English is your first language and if you were good
with English in school, you should be able to comprehensively define the words listed in the Code of Conduct. It may also pay to look up some words in the dictionary or Google, which gives a more comprehensive definition of the word. After studying and using
this info, you'll see why you got the ban. Most of it is COMMON SENSE and exercising a GOOD CONSCIENCE and having an up to scratch understanding of English. It is not the system that is in question. But the behavior of individuals. We need the Rep system to
keep everyone's behavior in check. Just like we need rules and laws to keep everyone's behavior in check.

The length you have had Xbox for, is irrelevant. You are not the most important human to ever live. You are not above the law nor the rules. If you break them or think Microsoft is uptight, are you going to just conclude "stupid system"? There is evidence.
You just have to be smart enough about analyzing how the information Microsoft has reported to you upon and your previous actions.

It's amazing how many people don't have this common sense and level of intelligence. And just blindly come on here and say Why Did I Get Banned?

You may want to read the ToU/CoC you agreed to.They are under no obligation to show you any proof they have.

It wouldn't be for the gamerpic as that would of been removed at the same time the suspension was issued so the op can expect another suspension pretty soon I would think.

Used to love reading the old enforcement forums, they were so funny at times.

The Smurf reply to someone with a blue avatar was my favourite.

  11. So it wasn't the OP's GP that got him/her banned, but now it will.

Open to interpretation: If I were to "agree" to a Super Rich persons or corporations willingness to oversee every aspect of my livelyhood. Does that then give them the right to end my life?

    Depends on.

1, how the contract was worded.

2, how crucked the justice system is.

You can read the COC\TOU 100's of times over, but the final interpretation rests solely in the control of a corporate giant that no.current justice system can either regulate or fine. . .

A contract cannot minimize a person's legal rights if the law does not permit it to. Maybe the US system is unfair, but it doesn't mean to say other countries are. They are also based in other countries too (offices, retailers, server facilities). Thus they
are subject to those countries laws too. It's like if someone visit the US and say no my original country's laws apply not yours, when they go to visit. Common wealth countries UK, Australia and NZ get 12 months warranty on Xbox One Elite controller. Microsoft
only gives a 90 day manufacturer warranty for it, but the law (consumer legislation) is different. And those 3 common wealth countries have supreme courts too. Several years back Microsoft had a No Refunds Full Stop policy. Some people from NZ complained about
how they couldn't get their money back for purchases that went wrong so they went to the media. Then they got their money back. They were also audited to check they were paying taxes.
Under section 60 of the Australian Consumer Law, contracts for the supply of services to
consumers contain an implied warranty that the services will be rendered with due care and skill. This warranty
cannot be excluded, so the clause is void. Point? They are not above the law.
