Xbox Enforcement team needs to be redone

A little over a week ago I got banned from communications for a week for saying the following, " Godspeed you magnificent son of a *****. Nice job avenging us." It was supposed to be a compliment for killing the guy that killed me.

What I don't understand is why they don't do this to the people who actually harass people. A little over 7 months ago I played high level competitive Overwatch, and I got a party invite from a gamertag on the enemy team. They said
in the party chat where I lived, turned off my internet, and typed in the text chat that they were going to come to my house and kill my family. I reported the person who did this and checked my xbox messages hoping that he would be banned or at least something
would happen. He still plays xbox to this day and I still remember his Gamertag because it was a pretty scary experience. So If I got banned for a week for calling someone a swear as a joke, how come people that turn off others internet and sends death threats
    still have no penalty?

Please explain why a swear is more serious than death threats.

    :)

we need to get rid of the Enforcement team, I’ve been banned 3 times now, and when I get a response from a case review it’s always the same, word for word responses, and it’s always signed by the same person. I think is run off an automated system. Which
means people who are innocent are gonna be charged anyway, which isn’t stupid and unfair. It needs to be redone or rid of completely

    Hi Brad,

If this is in regards to an enforcement action you would need to contact the Xbox Enforcement team.

The Xbox Enforcement team can be contacted through the
Xbox Enforcement website from this website you should be able to request a case review if eligible.

    Hello GustavGaming

I understand where you’re coming from however the Xbox Enforcement Team does not use these forums, reports might take time to be investigated by the Enforcement and the punishment can be delayed
and often times when you report someone you might or might not get a letter from the Enforcement thanking you for your reporting the offending person, swear and death threats are both forbidden and punishable, next time be careful in even saying a joke that
can broke the Xbox rule. For information about your account suspensions or bans sign in at this site with your account at https://enforcement.xbox.com

Only an actual person from the Xbox Live Enforcement Team can impose or remove a suspension or ban on the account. - "Despite what some may claim, Xbox Live Policy
& Enforcement Team will never ever ban anyone “for no reason”. Suspensions always occur as a result of a specific Code of Conduct violation.

Code of conduct violations encompass a number of situations, including, but not limited to:

    • Engaging in communications that claim or imply that you are Xbox staff
    • Having a Gamertag or profile content that contains hate speech or profanity
    • Using in game exploits to gain an unfair advantage over other players
    • Hacking, Modding or Cheating

If you want to contact the Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team you can file a Case Review - You can't file a Case Review if the suspension is less than 24 hours or you failed the questionnaire.

I reported the person who sent a death threat to me and sent exactly where I live and he still uses Xbox. There is a clear disconnect what is supposed to be and what is not. You can't even speak with an Xbox Representative about this. My suspension was already
over, and without one there is no way to contact them. What's exactly the point of a system where the person is judge, jury, and executioner and the denial rate is most likely in the 99%. When people threaten others lives the most important thing I think is
stopping it from happening again. The person never had any bans and got away scott free. It doesn't even let you type in their gamertag! It's clear to me that there's a reason why they call Microsoft anti-consumer. I've already sworn off xbox after this incident,
and I'm just entering this to get a point across. I think regardless of if my ban was warranted or not, I couldn't care less. What I want is a fair system that actually bans people that are cancers to the community. All this system in place does is randomly
ban people. I've been sworn in the thousands of times on xbox live over the years, and I doubt that everyone of them got banned.

  6. Its always best to never further engage with this bad player, best mute, block and report him and the Enforcement team will deal with him after an investigation is complete. One valid complaint is only needed to suspend the player. But this is between the
ET and him from now on and its no longer your business what happens to his account and you won't ever know.

But if you feel your life or family is in danger then going to the police is what you best can do next as this is their rightful job, not just ET alone. Best of luck and stay safe.

You may not see it on the enforcement site since they've redone the site, but they can still see your full enforcement history.
