    Xbox enforcement - Repeated banning


    I have been banned multiple times on xbox as a result of unknown users simply reporting me , this issue happens at least twice a month and is becoming a joke. The support team at xbox claim they cannot help me and ask me to put a case review in however the
    decision is always upheld , yet there is no breaking of the code of conduct or anything that is close to ban worthy.

    Since when does xbox give indefinite bans? No 3,5,7 or 3 week ban? Just we are banning you until further notice? Meanwhile the poster continues to pay for the service? Something doesnt seem right or we arent getting the full story.

    Cant you view the amount of complaints on your account on the enforcement website?

    Every report gets investigated by XBLPET before a suspension is issued and they take the process very seriously.

    If you have filed for a case review there is nothing else you can do by read the Code of Conduct and respect it to avoid future bans.

    Why does Xbox enforcement exist?

    They exist to help enforce the Terms of Service that Xbox Live Subscribers agree to adhere to. Those that continually violate the TOS are usually banned for a short period based on the offense but can be permanently banned for repeated offenses.

    Hiya!!

    Making false reports to the XBOX Enforcement team is unacceptable and should not be used for such actions! Just like making a false 911 call, repeated false reports could find you to be banned.

    I got permanently banned....

    Generally Permabans are given to repeat offenders or severe CoC/ToS violations. You can try to appeal the ban to the Xbox Enforcement team over on https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US.

    Game sharing outside of your physical household is against the rules & can lead to enforcement action or even a console ban for repeated violations.
