    Before anyone gets all up in arms over this question I want to say that I understand the need to have community guidelines and a department that upholds them.

    My biggest issue is that when someone uses an abbreviation that is derogatory in its entirety to almost anyone in real life and the responding player uses a four letter word back why aren't both players suspended? Turns out that the only player that gets suspended is the one who got reported first. I think this is [mod removed] and yes I got this information directly from Xbox customer service.

    In speaking with Xbox I learned that no one gets to talk to the enforcement team and if you want to disagree or add more information you have to wait and see if the enforcement team even remembers to upload the suspension to your account. I have for example waited over 24 hours now and nothing has been added to my account so that I can send a rebuttal. Again I violated the rules by using a four letter word and I am okay with paying the price. But I can see the other player on my sons account and he can message just fine with anyone he wants. I know because I have tried it just to see. enforcement views this as retaliation which is bogus.

    So here is my question / request. Why is it that Microsoft Xbox has a department that can directly impact another players ability to use features and functions yet they stay in the shadows and you have no way to respond with your side of the story. In my opinion the Xbox Enforcement Team should really allow for rebuttal if they are going to suspend someone for longer than 24 hours. But even still I think they should at least allow the person being suspended or banned due process. It should be reviewed and someone assigned to the case in order to mediate and resolve the issue or at least in my case suspend BOTH players from chat not just the person who was reported first.

    I have reported this user over and over to the Xbox customer support team and via the xbox interface. I don't agree with these policies and as a customer I think we have a right to at least express what we feel the issues are. I am starting the think the person / people who came up with these rules has honestly never played online.

    Those are just my two cents for what its worth.

    Normally, any suspension will show up on your account so that you can appeal it. However, the Enforcement system has been broken for the last few days and Enforcements aren't showing up

    Someone has to speak on our behalf! Someone that has some kind of email or phone number to someone in their office has to reach out and tell them the obvious magnitude of the situation. It seems extremely suspicious that on the same day the first of the “Permanent bans” started rolling in (sometime around the 13th) from what I can tell. Most of which for small (1, 2 or 3 day suspensions) are getting weeks.al same for those who claim no violations at all occurred and they were just shut down and then Enforcement conveniently becomes unavailable to contact and nobody can log into customer support and there is no way to contact a soul in the actual support system whatsoever.to find out actual times. You actually have to create a whole new acct to reach support at all just to ask about the actual acct affected. Something about all this doesn’t seem right, I’m sorry but I’ve been a customer of Microsoft even before Xbox ever came out. Never have I experienced anything like this blatant lack of customer service.. Some of us who are experiencing this are not just kids or teens were pretty intelligent adults, I myself work in IT, and we know when something isn’t quite right about all this. We just wish Microsoft would stop hiding it and come clean and take responsibility and accountability fans acknowledge the situation and what they are doing to good paying customers.

    I believe he means where do we find the information regarding this Perma-Ban issue on your website? So that customers who are experiencing this dilemma can look and say “oh it says here on the website that there is an issue with the safety and enforcement page.” Like an official statement from Microsoft. Every other issue and fix shows up there so why not this one?So that we aren’t wasting our time coming to the forums to ask you.
    As far as I know, there has been no Official word or statement from Microsoft about this matter and there is nowhere to check the status of it or anything.

    Unfortunately, most of us in here know as much as you do as we are fellow gamers and don't work for Microsoft...all we know is what we see here. Normally, there may be a handful of posts a week about suspensions on this forum....but suddenly a few days ago there were lots of posts being made about permanent suspensions which indicated there was an issue somewhere..the numbers haven't really dropped...I just counted 7 threads about Perma bans on the first 2 pages of this forum alone.

    Until microsoft either fix it or put out a statement, we are all in the dark
