xbox enforcement need to be adjusted

I see a lot on hate on enforcement and I get it, there are a lot of toxic games out there that pull perfectly good gamer into the toxic talk or play. The thing is that is in that game, because of the games community, that game should be responsible for it's
own policing. Xbox should only step in when there is an issue via xbox live, so chat video or messages, and if there is an issue xbox should ban or suspend that player from that feature not all of them.

I am just tired of xbox being lazy and trying to control everything on its platform. Make you partner police their own games, some people like to build, sale and play toxic games I.E COD but just cause you enjoy those games doesnt mean all of xbox should
be ruined. I mean GTA should be a banned game by xbox standards.

Just saying, Xbox monitor appropriately and don't become like nintendo aka for kids only

Only an actual person from the Xbox Live Enforcement Team can impose or remove a suspension or ban on the account. - "Despite what some may claim, Xbox Live Policy
& Enforcement Team will never ever ban anyone “for no reason”. Suspensions always occur as a result of a specific Code of Conduct violation on XBL server.

Code of conduct violations encompass a number of situations, including, but not limited to:

• Engaging in communications that claim or imply that you are Xbox staff
  
• Having a Gamertag or profile content that contains hate speech or profanity

Keep in mind that Windows Games, Steam, Sony/Nintendo etc has also their own version of gaming police team and punishment if caught breaking their respective rules.

TO be clear this is not about a suspension or ban, it is about Xbox miss handling the governance of it community. I would love a simple poll of xbox user's on their feeling around many of the policies and penalties, publicly displayed results, just to see
if xbox's community agrees and by what percentage. Maybe I am just old school gamer but if the major of user's think there is no place for things outlined in the code of conduct then xbox need to start banning that same content in the games them selfs.

You can't have game's breaking the rule but punish gamers for acting just like their favorite character.

 

Actually Hawkeye304 Games are only rated, it serves as an education purpose what to expect about the content. Online interactions
are not. Game Rating systems are voluntary and not legally binding. Online interactions are governed by the ToS and Code of Conduct which means everything on XBL must remain E.

 

Well, games are rated. The service also is. E. If you don't like it, talk to Microsoft's Legal department, or go to
PlayStation, Nintendo, Peppery, or Steam.

How come you don't get what I'm trying to tell you Hawkeye? Rated games are for the game itself and they are not enforceable that the reason XBOX can't banned COD and games that are rated M.

Conversations on XBL service must be rated E for everyone and is subjected to the CoC of Xbox, that it why ET can banned you if you don't play nice and watch your mouth. Its that simple.

You must have big time miss this when you sign up for Xbox in the beginning

No i understand fine, you just clearly missed the point of every statement. Try to stop thinking literally and think about how a business actual works. a "banned" game is a game no supported or ran on xbox due to the content no being inline with the values
of the xbox community. Xbox does not "ban" games or make the game own their community because the gaes would lose money and that is bad for business.

the CoC was in a way better spot 10 years ago and even 3 years ago, it is only lately they have beeb speaking out both sides of their mouth. Xbox community is both the games content and live, so I ask for those to things to line
up and be held to the same standard.

 

Its no use making you understand that game rating system is just for content information it got nothing to do with online interaction and its no use with you discussing old CoC format from 10 years or 3 years ago as MS has already updated them and you're
required to agree to them everytime before you can continue using their service, if you have not read the changes or understand them then its not MS fault, its their service and they can implement everything they wish on their online service and there is nothing
you can do but live and learn from your mistakes.
