XBox Enforcement is UNFAIR

I got banned for defending myself. I was in a killer game, killed this guy in less than 30 seconds, so he starts smack talking to me. I told him to "sit and spin", apparently he knows someone that knows someone. He told me he was going to get me banned.
Less than a hour later, I get a 24 hour suspension from communication. That's not a coincidence. I said nothing really bad to him. Of course, I did say some not nice things and served my time. BUT, who among us has not said some not very nice things,
especially when you are you are being attacked by someone using racial slurs and homophobic language? Since I was only banned for 24 hours, I had no way to defend myself, request a case review, or anything else. I had never played this guy before, but he
got all butt hurt because I played the game and happened to kill him. I had this particular game for 24 hours and received so much hate mail by so many cry babies. So, I guess I know now where all the whiners hang out. Microsoft has implemented a service
agreement where the cards are stacked against you. I've been playing since 2013 and never had one incident until this dude, in fact, I've lead many groups and clans. I've mentored different gamers and thoroughly enjoyed the play. I'm almost embarrassed
to say, but I own most of the XBox One games, I've had a Live membership for the entirety of time playing, I've been invited to try out for organized game competitions, etc. Now I wish I could get all my investment back, which would be thousands of dollars.
I'd sell it all today and go to PS4 if I had it to do all over again.

Thanks for letting me rant, but this is the only place I've found where I can voice my disgust in how this was all handled.

Xbox enforcement is unfair

Sorry but the enforcement team does not monitor these forums. IT is not uncommon for the enforcement team to take action of a report and never notify the reporting party.

I am sick of Xbox enforcement! I have been a loyal customer for several years. I have been a Xbox fan for so long and I would not play PlayStation. I was a hue Xbox fan. But then this enforcement comes along and ruins everything. Yeah I admit it I would
[Mod Removed] in games. Playing bo3 or something and I die. Or someone is being rude or something. Everyone does. I have never been suspended before and I just did for the first time and I'm thinking about cancelling my Xbox live. I got suspended until the
tenth and I JUST got a new game. I got suspended for a communication violation so I can still play but I can't chat! I got suspended cuz I was gonna play fortnight then my friend invited me to a party. I was very polite but then out of nowhere some other people
started cussing at me, a lot. They called me names and told me to [Mod Removed]. Then they kicked me. I msg them "[Mod Removed]" then I get suspended 2 min later!!! That does not make any sense. They acted like butt hurt children and reported me over one thing.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN SUSPENDED BEFORE. And I get suspended over one msg!!! I am furious. They cussed at me first! And I can't even appeal it! I tried to but the appeal system is so unfair! I have to answer several questions about the TOS as if I was a moderator
and if I get two wrong I have to wait 24 hours! And I got two wrong cuz I'm not a e pert on the TOS! I AM NOT A MOD! I DONT STUDDY THAT STUFF EVERY DAY. Xbox may as well just lost a customer. Why should I pay $60 dollars ahead if I can't even talk to people
online this is unfair! Does anyone know of a way I can not pay until my suspension is up? Because I don't want to pay until I get what I was promised

 

It takes awhile for the enforcement team to investigate reports. It's likely a coincidence that he happened to say that. The incident that lead to the ban likely occurred weeks prior. In the future it's best to report users rather that saying anything back
to them.

Your best bet block ignore and mute and don't talk to him

I agree. It is quite shameful to 'sell out' the community.

You might actually want to read the code of conduct

 

Paying for something doesn't make you immune to the rules

Also you aren't allowed to retailiate in anyway that violates the terms of use

Common use common sense

It doesn't matter who starts the fight you alone are accountable for your own actions

You don't like what he said block report and mute it's that simple

If you reply to him any further the block is removed fyi

The Enforcement teams don't use the forums at all and they only communicate through a
Case Review. 24 Hour communications suspensions and Console Suspensions are not reviewable, however you can find more information in these cases through the communication sent
by the teams to the email address associated with your Xbox Live Gamertag. Remember that all suspensions are only enforced when a breach of the
Code of Conduct or
Microsoft Services Agreement has happened. One of the common myths is that people who report another user for no reason will see that person suspended. This is not the case and in fact
is subject to action as well for false reports which you can find more information about Enforcement Myths HERE.

As bowski477 mentioned, it's likely that this happened prior to meeting this player and it's best to just file a report instead of responding.
