    Hey Xbox, I don't know if you will see this or not but I have got a problem. I recently received a communications ban on my account and I have no idea why, I have never cussed, never said anything racist, I primarily only talk to my friends! So imagine
    my surprise when I get an alert saying I received a ban, I figure you probably just made a mistake somewhere, so I went to xbox.enforcement.com and asked for a case review. Case the purpose of a case review is to find out more information about the offense
    and maybe have the ban taken away. That is a paraphrase of what is said before you sign up for one, so I put down this nice little message

    "I have recently received a communication ban, and I would like to know what I have done to receive the ban so that I may avoid that activity in the future. I think that I may have received it do to a recent conversation with Xbox Live user C***K** (I edited
    it so their name wouldn't be given out), who I believe to be one of my friends in real life, but that is just what I think. I do not mean to be hateful in anyway I speak, I just try to make corny jokes that sometimes get misinterpreted."

    And the reply I received was

    "The suspension was issued for inappropriate communications with other users. We cannot allow this kind of behavior on the service.

    During this suspension the account may continue to access the Xbox Live service, including online multiplayer, but communications features will be restricted. This includes messaging, video communications, in-game and party chat, and Skype on Xbox One. At the
    conclusion of the suspension all communication functionality will be automatically restored.

    Does that sound like you helped me figure out what I did wrong? That sounds like a computer generated response. All I want to know is, what I did wrong so I can avoid it in the future.

    One thing that we're maybe forgetting...

    Why do you think the xbox one has mandatory checks on games within 24hours and Sony doesn't? It's blatantly obvious Sony won't enforce the same level DRM as the xbox one.

    Sounds like the jokes you think are corny might just be offensive to others. Don't assume just because you find something funny that other people will, even if those people are your friends.

    There is a reason that Xbox Live is 'E for Everyone'. That's the behaviour that Microsoft expect people to follow.

    dont think you will get a refund if it was a review you saw it in, but if it was in the item description of microsoft store then yes you have a right to your money back as it did not fulfilled none of those roles

    You were about 2 hours and 10 minutes more patient then I would have been. I have never bought anything from the microsoft store. I tend to stick with amazon. Have never had any issues with returns for them. Most of the time it is super easy.
