    Xbox enforcement experience


    By far the worst part of xbox, Enforcement. So many cases where the instigator isn’t punished, reasons not brought up in cases, and worst of all the fact that you can get banned for saying [mod removed] towards an in-game skin, not even an actual person.
    PSN does not take action towards these messages because there are simply much more important things they allocate their funds to. I’ve played Xbox my whole life, but every time an issue occurs i’m let down.

    Due to privacy policies the only thing that you MAY get is a message from the enforcement team saying thank you for the report. You will not get anything that tells you what the result of their investigation is. So there really is no way for you to know
    whether anything was done or not.

    Firstly Playstation DOES enforce the rules in a similar manner, toxic behaviour is a problem that both communities are working hard to negate & discourage at every opportunity. Secondly, lets not kid ourselves on, while you cannot control the behaviour
    of others, you are 100% in control of your own actions & behaviour, in responding to antagonistic behaviour you immediately put yourself under the spotlight and open yourself up to the possibility of a ban. There are tools (block, mute, report) at your disposal
    to ensure that you need never put yourself in that position, why people continually do it is a mystery to me, if you use those tools THEY are the ones who wind up facing the enforcement action and you wind up with one less person to worry about running across.

    That's [Mod Removed - Inappropriate] cause I got a message saying
    [Mod Removed - Inappropriate] [Mod Removed - Inappropriate] and I reported it and nothing was done about it
    Considering you are not told the result of any report you've filed how do you know nothing was done?

    Person could of had a 24 hour comms suspension & you wouldn't know.

    Perhaps all gamers and users of XBox Live and this forum should reread the XBox Forum Guidelines and the other links contained within
    that document to prevent any type of Enforcement action. These rules are applied to keep everyone who uses the service safe.

    Just like road rules, if there were no guidelines there would be chaos.
