    Xbox Enforcement Ban


    I've recently had my account suspended due to breaking a code of conduct violating. I understand the ban but what I don't agree with is the length of the ban. I used one word in a message and banned for 7 days when looking back at the incident I really do
    think 7 days is over the top when it should only value at least a 2 day ban. The case review I openly admitted and apologised what I had done, didn't include the word I used in case they increased the ban and being honest im really not happy with the length
    of ban. Is there anyway I can appeal the decision as I don't agree with what the enforcement team have said. All they have done is copy and paste statements from the "stay safe" section.

    Since when does xbox give indefinite bans? No 3,5,7 or 3 week ban? Just we are banning you until further notice? Meanwhile the poster continues to pay for the service? Something doesnt seem right or we arent getting the full story.

    Cant you view the amount of complaints on your account on the enforcement website?

    Xbox Enforcement Ban

    Submitting a case review is the only way to have the suspension reviewed. If the enforcement team upheld their decision, there is nothing else you can do but wait out the suspension.

    Suspension length can vary due to the severity of the situation as well as any prior enforcement actions.

    Account suspensions are issued for a specified duration, often of 1, 7, or 14 days, though egregious or repeated violations can result in a permanent suspension.

    The Enforcement Team would have decided based on your actions, what determined your suspension.

    Microsoft Staff deal with thousands, if not millions of complaints each and every hour. They do not have time to write custom replys for each appeal unfortunately.

    As the 2 users below mentioned, if you submitted an appeal, and they upheld it, then you'll just need to wait. Of course, you are welcome to file a complaint with The Better Business Bureau or other outside agencies.

    was it a game ban or an actual Xbox live ban, if a game ban then you would need to contact 343, if a live ban then you need to go to the enforcement site to check as support are not allowed to handle enforcement issues.

    Chech https://enforcement.xbox.com for the ban-reason and ways to possibly lift the ban. The enforcement team usually doesn't ban people/consoles for no reason. Either someone reported you or the enforcement team noticed stuff.

    There's nothing about bans or any other enforcement actions we at xbox ambassadors can do.

    Xbox Enforcement wont ban you for something on a service that is not owned by Microsoft/Xbox.

    Your ban could be of something you did on Xbox awhile back. As it is not always enforced once the report comes in.
