    I've recently purchased GTA IV on my steam account, upon loading up the game it tells me i must create an Xbox account to save data. However pre-existing accounts are not recommend as they do not tend to work properly so they suggest to create a new account.
    As I click the link to create a new account it takes me to the xbox/microsoft page and asks me to create an account so I said yes, little did i know that they've used the same email address for both of my Xbox accounts and now I don't know what to do. Can
    anyone help?

    One year anniversary of the one - thanks message from xbox

    I am sure whatever they give will be linked to the Xbox account message system.

    I had that problem with using an old email. I switched the email through windows live. It took like 30 days to do that though. At least I get the emails now.

    Hello!

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Every Microsoft Account can only have one Microsoft Account Primary Email address to get down to finding which account of yours you'd like to use I recommend contacting
    Xbox Customer Support so a representative can look into any and all Microsoft Account emails you may have to help you find the one you'd like to use.

    Hi Kaleeb,

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. I'm sorry to inform you the option to transfer saved data, achievements and any/or game purchases from another Microsoft Account will not be possible. We currently do not have an available feature. The one
    step we have available is changing the primary email on the Microsoft account.
    You can however set up home consoleon the main profile.
    Note:If you choose to remove an alias that uses a Microsoft domain such as @hotmail.com, @outlook.com, or @live.com, that alias will be completely deleted and will not be available
    to sign in to any Microsoft services.

    As a rule there are no refunds on digital purchases which it clearly tells you when you go to buy something from the store.

    But if a game is broken then usually they will refund you the money.Not sure how you think Microsoft or Xbox have committed fraud.

    If the developers have released a broken game then you should be complaining to them.

    If you need your own account you will have to create one, as far as I know, you cannot transfer information from an old account to a new account.
