Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Doesn't Work on PC

Previously I was using the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 and it was working for PC but could not use the quick switching so i stopped frequently using it on PC.

Noticing that a new update included quick switching I went over to my PC and synced it up via bluetooth.

After being connected the device would not be detected by games or the Xbox Accessories App.

I tested it with a Gamepad Tester and noticed it does detect my inputs:

Plugging the controller in via USB-C works but still is not detected by Xbox Accessories on PC.

Additionally, my Series X|S Controller works via bluetooth but as soon as it's plugged in via USB-C it is not detected by Xbox Accessories on PC.

I have removed devices and updated my drivers and controllers with no luck. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Doesn't sound like it the only way to find out if buying one and checking that way, the new elite looks awesome anyways and I'll be buying it

To configure the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, get the Windows 10 May 2019 Update (or later) and make sure your PC has the latest fixes.

The Xbox Accessories app won’t detect your controller if you’re using Bluetooth to connect to your PC. Connect your controller using Xbox Wireless, or plug the included USB-C cable into the back of the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 and plug the
