    Xbox Elite Version 2 Left Bumper failure


    Hello. I'm having a worrisome issue with my Xbox Elite 2nd Gen Controller. The left bumper has now begun to double input, lag input, or does not input at all. My controller is out of warranty by a few weeks but what is worrisome is the magnitude
    of other gamers reporting their bumpers are faulty as well. I seem to be one of the lucky ones who's controller didn't stop working within just a few months. I've also read that 3rd party repairs use a second rate replacement piece for an unguaranteed fix.
    I would like to know if I can send in my controller to have it fixed/refurbished with OEM parts for a fee. I would prefer to not have to buy a whole new Elite V2 Controller just to roll the dice and see if it will last a whole year.

    Gears of war 4 is coming, and now.. So am I.

    i've had 2 - horrible, Right bumper and left bumper went off. Now they have no more replacements for GoW4 LE Elite Controllers. Absolutely horrible that such a pricey product is made with such low quality.

    If I send in my Xbox elite 2 to Microsoft can they fix the right bumper problem. I have already sent one Xbox elite 2 in and had the right bumper fixed and it lasted 2 weeks before having the same problem.

    I bought 2 Elite and both left bumpers broke about 6 months into owning them...Really hope they make a better controller. $300 and now i have 2 broken controllers. What a joke!
