Xbox Elite v2 Controller Issues.

Ok, where to start?

First I'll say that I've gone through a few Xbox Elite v2 controllers already, I think I'm on my 5th one at the moment. I've been using my original Elite controller and both grip paddings are falling apart on both sides, so I'm in dire need of a new controller.
Pretty much all of the Elite v2 controllers I've gone through have had issues ranging from misaligned controllers shells that leave sharp pieces of plastic exposed, and rumble motors that sound like they're making a semi high pitched rattling noise instead
of the usual rumble noise you would expect. Right now, the one I have currently has the rumble motor issue. I'm debating if I should return it for another one making this my 6th attempt or not. It's just gets a little frustrating after a certain amount of
attempts because these controllers aren't exactly cheap, they're $180 and you would think the quality control would be better.

I've had good experiences with the first version of the Elite controller, the rumble motors in it made the normal low pitched noise like you would expect, the only problem I had with them is the padding falling off. I don't really know if different rumble
motors were used in the Elite v2s and that's what they're supposed to sound like, or if I keep getting unlucky. I don't really know what I should do at this point, but if there is ever a 3rd version of Elite controllers I really hope that there finally is
better quality control and it hopefully fixes these problems.
