Xbox elite V2 controller bluetooth issue on PC

Hey all,

So i'm returining my Xbox elite V2 controller for the 3rd time. I had preordered the controller last year and since I reiceved the first one, bluetooth never worked properly. I've seen several other people complaining about it and never seen any workaround
or official microsoft response.

Basically whenever i'm playing with the in-built bluetooth on my PC, at some point the game starts suttering and bluetooth cuts with the xbox logo blinking.

I have tried on another PC, tried dozens of games, updating the controller, updating the bluetooth drivers...

Is there any official guideline from Microsoft's support ? Is there any hardware which is working properly with bluetooth ? Already had 3 different controllers and all of them had the same problem...

If your controller model is 1708 and 1797 (elite v2),

you can use bluetooth connect the pc / mobile phone.

1537, 1697, 1698 (elite) is not support bluetooth.

Hello ChaChang,

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. I understand you are having issues with the elite controller V2 staying connected via Bluetooth and hard-wire. Do you have other controllers you can test out on your Pc to see if the issue is specific to the
elite controller? If you don't have another controller, would you be able to test out the elite on a different Pc?

So I Reiceved my 4rth controller and it is still not working.

I'll be sending it back again for replacement until either it works or I get a refund proposal from microsoft.

So no feedback from microsoft on this, not even acknowledging the issue. I now have returned my 3rd controller and will keep returning them as long as bluetooth on windows 10 is not functionnal or I get a full refund. For this class of product and considering
the price we are paying those issues and lack of communication are unnacceptable.
