Xbox elite two controller busted

My controllers A button was going out and then rapidly all the face buttons except the home button stopped working. D pad, start button, back button, screen shot button, and all the lettered buttons. Are there any fixes other than just returning it?

Based on the information you've provided me, it sounds like you have a problem with the controller hardware. There is probably a problem with the lever
right analog stick or with the left analog stick.

I'm very sorry, I think the best solution for you is to request a refund. Microsoft offers a pretty affordable money back guarantee at least enough to know if your devices will work correctly or not, in this case your drivers
Xbox are no exception, so you should be able to get a refund without problems as long as it does not exceed the days allowed for this.

I have a total of TWO games on my Xbox One. Peggle 2 and Killer Instinct, I rarely use the machine and now my controller is busted. Same issue with the left thumbstick.

EDIT - I never managed to break a 360 controller btw.

To save yourself a little trouble in the long run, see if you can get a longer waranty with the controller. The elite controllers do bust quite a bit since they take a beating from gameplay. If something is wrong with the controller do not wait. Let someone
know something is up and go through the motions. This can save you time and money.
