    Xbox Elite - Turning it Off


    I have my Xbox Elite attached to my PC, when not using the controller how do I turn it off? When I switch on the PC the controller (after buzzing) just seems to charge until I press the X logo button, then it lights up. That button does not seem to switch it of though.

    Everything seems up and running now. But I have a cable with the Xbox Wireless Adapter, is that to be used to put the XBWA up like an antenna in case the signal is blocked? Thanks again for all the help so far.

    I am using a wire but will shortly using wireless with the Xbox wireless adapter, will I have to take the adapter out to switch the Elite off?

    If you have the controller attached via a wire, then pull the wire out, and press and hold the Xbox button until the light turns off. That will turn off your controller. It will always charge when the wire is connected.
