XBox Elite Series 2 with Sticky left trigger

I received my new XBox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 yesterday.

It burn't a hole in my pocket, but I love it. I love the magnetically coupled buttons and thumbsticks, the solid feel of the thing, the paddles.

I've named it. We've bonded.

Also, the left trigger button sticks ever so slightly on release after being pressed when the hair trigger is on its "Long" setting.

Now I am concerned. Is there a user serviceable, non warranty voiding way to fix this? I don't want to give this device up for something so ... small. But again, this thing costs so much, it MUST be perfect.

my left trigger is also strange. when i push it litl bit past the midle it feels like there is another button or something. got it yestardey for 200e.

As it turns out, the problem did spontaneously resolve after a couple of days of use while I was waiting for the retailer to reply to my how-to-do-a-return over the Christmas season query.

Don't risk it and send it in for repair or replacement under warranty.

I've just got one too! So hoping I avoid all the issues I've heard about.

Hello there, unfortunately, no. Linked is the warranty information and guidelines. Under number 5, letter F it states that the warranty is void if it is "repaired by anyone other than Microsoft." This
means that should you attempt to repair it on your own, your warranty will be void. I apologize for the frustration. Hope this helps,
