    App is awful, the ability to actually customize my paddles is almost impossible. Decided to take 15 minutes to map my paddles before I end up on for a couple hours, but instead have come to a dead end. After connecting & updating my controller on Windows
    10 I am not given the option to configure my controller. It says "Not assigned" above yet gives me no option to assign or configure. I'm stuck in the app & unable to customize my paddle . Support is equally just as bad. There is absolutely no help to work
    around this problem, or any information to resolve i . Instead, I'm stuck with uncustomizable $200 controller to just stare at until this software issue is resolved.

    Has anyone else had this issue? How to fix?

    Thanks for the reply. The Elite controller series 2 has various methods of mapping the buttons and paddles as compared to the series 1. If you haven't done so already, I recommend taking a look at the following support articles that
    can assist you in determining how to set up the different functions, including how to use Shift with the controller to give you alternate inputs:

    In order to save the customized profiles you create when configuring the controller, you need to be signed into a Microsoft Account with an Xbox Live profile associated with the account. If you signed into Windows on initial boot up using a Microsoft Account,
    then the Microsoft Store and apps you download from the Store will automatically be logged into that same Microsoft Account.

    If you log in to Windows using a local account but want to login using a Microsoft Account instead, try the following steps:

    • Select the Start button, then select Settings > Accounts > Your info(in some versions, it may be under Email & accounts instead).
    • Select Sign in with a Microsoft account instead. You'll see this link only if you're using a local account. Note that if you see Sign in with a local account instead, you're already using your Microsoft account.
    • Follow the prompts to switch to your Microsoft account.

    If you want to continue using a local account to log in to Windows or are not sure if you are logged into the Microsoft Store with a Microsoft Account, you can check manually by launching the Microsoft Store and clicking on the user icon in the top
    right corner. From there you should be able to sign in or confirm if a Microsoft Account is signed in.

    That would be a great option for the Xbox Accessories app. They could probably make it an option on the Elite Series 2 easily.

    Did you find a solution to this problem? I updated my Elite series 2 yesterday, and now I have the exact same problem. Elite series 2 is recognized as a regular xbox controller and does connect via bluetooth, but doesnt work. Connected via USB-c the XBOX accessories app doesnt even recognize it...

    Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but that didnt help.
