    hi folks

    wondering if this is actually how the product works for PC users or if mine happens to have something faulty with the blue tooth.

    When I wire in the xbox elite series 2, typically to configure settings, it ALWAYS disconnects from bluetooth, requiring me to go into settings, forget device, and then re-pair the device.

    This isn't much of a headache, but for $180 + tax and all the "most advanced controller" touting, I need to know!! Sometimes the controller requires a PC reboot to show up on "pair a device"



    to save some time:

    -all firmware/drivers are updated on PC and on controller

    -no other issues on any other bluetooth device

    -can replicate issue on other PCs

    I have a few Elite Series 2 controllers and they all fail to reconnect to my PC via Bluetooth after disconnecting from the USB cable. Are you saying that having to remove the device and add it in again via Bluetooth is normal/the way the controller was
    designed?! Where might I find info on this? I would like to get it figured out. Thanks.

    Elite Controller 2 Bluetooth issues

    My elite 2 when connected to PC via bluetooth loses connection and I am also experiencing sudden frame rate drops which I do not see when playing it with wired or keyboard or mouse. I did not had any issues with Elite 1 which connected via a usb
    dongle. I updated the controller and the bluetooth feature is broken. Anyone got it to work on PC via bluetooth without any issues?
    exactly the same issue here, have no problem with using my xbox one s controller on PC, but lots of disconnections and frame rate drops with elite 2

    Elite Controller 2 Bluetooth issues

    Having similar Issues. My Elite series 2 controller works fine for about an hour or so, then will disconnect. Half the time it will auto reconnect after 2 or 3 seconds, the other half it will not reconnect at all and I have to manually turn off the controller
    and turn it back on for it to reconnect. Each time it does disconnect the frame rate of the game plummets for a few seconds. Then after some time passes, roughly an hour give or take, the issue will repeat for the entire gaming session.

    My windows 10 is up to date as of this posting at build 1909 and my Elite series 2 controller is updated as well.

    The support article for troubleshooting bluetooth issues on windows 10 does not help with the issue.

    I have never connected the Elite series 2 controller to my Xbox One S, I bought it solely for PC gaming.

    Forgot to mention, I am connecting via bluetooth. I do not have a wireless adapter nor do I want to connect using a usb cable.
