Xbox Elite Series 2 on PC not recognised by any game.

I own an Xbox Elite Series 2. I use it on Xbox Series X & PC.

This month the Xbox Series X pushed a controller firmware update to my Xbox Elite Series 2 controller. Ever since this update, the controller has not functioned on my Windows PC.

It's recognised as a connected device, both via Bluetooth or via a USB C cable, but when I open the Xbox Accessories App, I get: "Unfortunately this app doesn't currently support your controller's new firmware on PC. We're working on updating the PC experience, Check back soon!"

Worse still, not of my games recognise input form the controller. I've tested using Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5 & Scarlet Nexus,

Am I to understand that my Xbox Series X has pushed firmware to my controller that has made it incompatible with my PC?

Troubleshooting:
1. My Xbox Elite Series 2 is on the latest firmware. I know this because my Xbox Series X doesn't prompt me to update it.

2. My Windows 10 Pro is up to date.

To address this issue, I'll suggest you roll back the update on the controller. Connect your controller to my console via USB and follow the steps outlined below.

This solved my issue, thanks Jesse.

The Xbox Accessories app now correctly recognises my Elite controller, and more importantly, so do my PC games.

As an item of feedback, I strongly recommend not releasing controller firmware that breaks PC compatibility. It's really important for lots of your customers that the Xbox environment is practically seamless across console & PC, and that includes keeping my controlled in working order.

Anyway, I'm returning to Zeta Halo now, happy holidays.

Seems like whatever the latest update was fixed the issue with Bluetooth on PC and Xbox

I've got the same issue as OP but don't have an xbox to perform the roll back, what am I suppose to do?

Do you know if there will be a fix coming soon for this? Id like to be able to use my series 2 controller on my pc and XSX the same way i use my XSX controller on PC and Xbox.

Its a hassle having to repair each to each device.
