Xbox Elite Series 2 Limited Edition Repair

So I’ve recently started having problems with my right bumper on my Elite Series 2, sometimes it either doesn’t register a click or it registers twice

Normally I’d just send it in for repair, but it’s a limited edition (a Halo Infinite one from last year) and I know that Microsoft will often just send a new controller instead of fixing it. If I sent in my controller, would I still get the same limited edition controller back or would it just be a standard Elite Series 2?

I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing some issues with your controller.

According to the Manufacturer's Limited Hardware Warranty & Agreement for Xbox devices:

"When replacing the unit, Microsoft may use either the same unit model or, if unavailable, the model nearest to the original model’s form, functionality, and performance, in Microsoft’s sole discretion."

This means that if Microsoft determines your controller needs to be replaced instead of repaired, and the Halo Infinite Elite Controller is not available, it would most likely be replaced for a standard Elite Series 2 controller.

about elite series 2, I think this has more problem....

I have 2 elite series 2, my rubber knobs on the hair trigger locks came off too.

And My 'A' button is very bad..

I tried to fill out repair order, but, as mentioned above, those are the only options i got.

Bumper IS a known issue, as you can see.

Btw., it doenst matter what caused 2 years warranty, it is in place and i'm in the right to use it.

Thats bad aint it? You think they would have spare casing for the Scorpio edition consoles.

I have had no luck setting up a repair for my series 1 controller? I only seen the option for the elite series 2 controller? Any ideas?
