xbox elite series 2 issues over bluetooth

I just bought a brand new elite series 2 controller directly from microsoft, updated it, went to go play it and discovered that it has unexplainable and random issues. As countless others have stated, it works perfectly fine when wired, but try to use bluetooth and... well. Assuming your inputs don't get eaten or the entire thing just stops reading button presses for a few seconds at random, it plays rumble effects for wayyy longer than they are supposed to. Spent a solid two days wrangling any form of customer support, not getting called when I was told I'd be, having my account locked out of call support, not getting through to anyone who would do anything more than link me the same support article for the 50th time... you get the picture. I was only able to receive actual official support by pestering the support account on twitter, and their only response was "here's a link, request a new one." Only got a phone call by using a different microsoft account. While on the phone, we were able to miraculously, and through no discernable concrete action on either of our parts, get this brand new $180 "luxury" controller to function on par with a 4 year old chewed-up secondhand controller I got from a craigslist sale. And now, wouldn't you know, all those same issues are back! I would love to return this thing and grab anything else, but unfortunately xbox products have by far the best compatibility with PC. At this point I don't even know if there is a solution besides buying the $20 wireless adapter, but I wanted to rant and ask one last time if anyone has had this same issue, and if you have, if and how you got it working.

Yep it's been confirmed to work with Scarlett.

Xbox elite series 1 doesn't.have bluetooth which came out after the first.gen xbox one controllers

The series.2 and.later xbox controllers have. Bluetooth

As mentioned before Mac doesn't.support elites 1

Try to update the controller firmware if you have not done it. Getting the latest firmware or downgrading the firmware version might help for this issue. See details here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-ne...

If that doesn't help or you've already done it, then try rolling back the firmware upgrade. To do that, Connect your controller to my console via USB and follow the steps outlined below.
