Xbox Elite Series 2 issues again

Discus and support Xbox Elite Series 2 issues again in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I've had three pads from currys, two pads from MS.     I've had three pads from currys, two pads from MS. All have the same issue of face buttons not registering despite an audible click from the button.

    It seems like the buttons have been designed in such a way that they require a deep press to activate (and from what I can gather, it's the same design as in standard pads), but this is an issue on the Elite series 2 as the buttons have a slightly lower
    profile, meaning they don't have enough travel in them to activate the button everytime. This is only worse when you hit the button on an angle (which when in the midst of gaming, happens a lot).

    The last pad I received from MS came with both sticks set to the highest tension, and the right trigger set to the middle travel option. Heavily hinting at this pad being a pad that someone had this issue with, sent it to MS, and MS have then sent this pad
    to me.

    I'm yet to see MS actually acknowledge this obviously common issue with the pad, and commit to fixing it outside of replacements (which all seem to have the same "fault" as it's not a failure issue, but rather one the pad is designed with).

    So I'm wondering. Are MS actually trying to fix this issue?. Are they just happy with the way the pad is, especially since this issue has been widely ignored or missed in reviews and media outside of forums.

    There was a new update released, can you try updating your Elite Series 2 controller again?

    I also have the Elite Series 2 controller and I do not run into these issues when using it with the PC.

    Elite series 2 issues..again.

    Bought it from sort of like a UK catalogue, i believe it's a trusted seller, as they replaced it the first time after showing proof of purchase.

    i bought the controller in December 2019. It was then sent back in Jan for a replacement.

    when i contacted the catalogue when i first had issues, they said i should contact Microsoft directly, which i did, for the first replacement.

    now my theory is, the controller i received back was a refurbished controller, likely an older 1 back from when they first got released. Which is not my problem, surely it's theirs for sending me an older controller?

    either way, i purchased it under 6 months ago, i still have emails from the 1st replacement, i tried attaching those photos when i requested a repair/replacement this time around. But to no joy!
