    Xbox Elite series 2 controller

    Hi,

So I was looking for some help with my Xbox Elite Series 2 controller. First I would like to state that this is the second series two controller I have had problems with. I am having the same exact issue, so I assume there is probably an issue with the materials
used. Although this one has made it a bit longer than the previous one. The issue is that the right stick is spinning. I will be moving the camera around in some high action game and then my stick spins suddenly. Causing issues with my movement as well as
causing me to mess up whatever I was doing in game.

Now for the major issue. I bought my controller from Best Buy, I always buy 2 year warranties when I am spending more than $100 on something for this very reason. Now, for some reason my Best Buy only gets anywhere from 1-2 of these controllers in per 1-3 months.
The online store stays pretty much sold out. I realize we are in a pandemic and supplies for everything are low. But, I can't seem to get any help with this issue. I go looking for help from the manufacturer, I notice that you don't even offer any type of
help with my issue, unless it's within a 90 day period (I assume a large number of these controller never have issues in the first 90 days). No phone calls, no chat, just an automated system that sends you through calibration tutorials. However, this isn't
software related its hardware related. At this point I'm pretty offended, Microsoft has always been good to me. Today though I essentially get a "Well...sucks to be you. Sorry your almost $200 controller has some cheap parts. Maybe try buying another one from
    our marketplace"

I understand Microsoft is likely not going to do anything. But at the very least let me chat with someone about this and see if there is possibly any other options. At the very least tell me there is a shortage of Elite controllers (Which I assume is the
case online, my local BB took months to get new Elite controllers in since they came out with series 1). At the end of the day I came here to say this. I am very disappointed at Microsoft's lack of care in this scenario. As far as the 90 day manufacturer warranty,
that's pretty crappy. That makes me think you're not very confident in your product. For $179 I expect more support and a lot more confidence in your product...

    :)

Lack of Controller care and innovation

Sorry to hear you are unsatisfied with the current Xbox controllers, however, the question forum is the incorrect place to post your feedback. Unless you are asking about current Xbox controller advancements in-which case that would be the Xbox Elite Controller
Series 1 and Xbox Elite Controller Series 2. The Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 being the newest on the market and being awarded,

    Elite 2 Controller Mapping Letdown

    Hi PsycoPyro88,

Thanks for the reply. The Elite controller series 2 has various methods of mapping the buttons and paddles as compared to the series 1. If you haven't done so already, I recommend taking a look at the following support articles that
can assist you in determining how to set up the different functions, including how to use Shift with the controller to give you alternate inputs:
