Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller

In the past few months I have had to buy and exchange several Elite S2 controllers. Each one I bought from my local store. The first one I bought, the charging dock didn't work, so I exchanged it. The second one lasted a week and the right bumper would constantly
double tap, so I exchanged that one. And now the third one started doing the same after a week. The right bumper is double tapping even though I just tap it once. This issue is unacceptable. I would just go exchange again, but for what? Just another broken
controller? And not to mention they're sold out most of the time anyways, so I wouldn't even be able to exchange.

It's not even just the Elite controller, I have also tried to buy basic controllers with same issues. I've had to exchange/return about 3 normal controllers because they started drifting after a week, and then another one with a double tapping right bumper.
One of them even lasted about a month and then started drifting so it was past the point where I could even return it, so I can't get that money back and I now just have an unusable drifting controller.

This shouldn't be a problem I have to deal with and frankly, it's a freaking joke. I expect to buy an Xbox Microsoft product and have it last me for AT LEAST a year.

My current Elite controller has a double tapping right bumper, and I don't even know what to do. I am at least wondering if there is the service of a controller repair. And even then, how would that work? Sending it in, I would literally not even have a
controller to use.

I am fed up with this issue. The amount of times I've had to return and exchange is a literal joke.

So, is there even a repair service? (And even then, how much money is that gonna cost to get it sent in and repaired? Because it should be free for crying out loud.)

I may not have explained my issue perfectly, but I need some actually competent and helpful answers/solutions. No BS please, I'm sick of it.
