    Xbox Elite Series 2 controller warranty


    I got my controller less than a year ago and I've had two issues with my controller, the first one was the bumper clicking twice when I clicked it once, i fixed the bumper but i had to take the face plate off. Now I have stick drift and i'm unable to fix it. I have not removed anything from the inside though. I am going to send it in because I still have warranty. I'm typing this to ask, will the warranty work even if I've taken the face-plate off?

    They recently extended the warranty for elite 2 to one year. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/elite-controller-series-2-warranty . maybe this will help
