Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller unresponsive?!

Has anyone ever had the blue light come up on that controller? If so, how did you fix it? Is there a hard reset for the controller? I held down the xbox button to turn it off, and now when i turn it on, theres no light on the xbox button, and all the other
buttons are unresponsive but the joysticks?! I’ve had this controller for 4 months and loved it. In fact i bought this controller because my previous 2 first gen elite controllers went out on me! And now, of course the warranty is up on it and i cant get in
touch with anyone on the support side for it! It’s extremely frustrating. I’m at the point I’m going to tell everyone i know and then some to never shell out $180 on this or any elite controller. Absolute trash.

I'm nit sure though my elite series 2 had some issues, I had unresponsive buttons and stick drift, I took mine back to the store, but they had not elite controllers in stock I got the Razer ultimate edition instead and I'm loving it at the moment

Sorry to hear you are unsatisfied with the current Xbox controllers, however, the question forum is the incorrect place to post your feedback. Unless you are asking about current Xbox controller advancements in-which case that would be the Xbox Elite Controller
Series 1 and Xbox Elite Controller Series 2. The Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 being the newest on the market and being awarded,
"Best of E3 2019 - Hardware/Peripheral" - Game Critics Awards.

I understand your frustration about having a controller that you paid good money for suddenly stop working, and don't want to take away from the fact that this shouldn't happen. However, Microsoft has already stated that there are problems with this controller.
It is a shame that your warranty ran out before this happened, because then there would be much less of a problem. I have spent 15 minutes looking this problem up and have found nothing that seems relevant to your situation. I hope that you can find something
to help with this predicament, but it seems like you just drew the short straw on this one.

Thanks for the reply. The Elite controller series 2 has various methods of mapping the buttons and paddles as compared to the series 1. If you haven't done so already, I recommend taking a look at the following support articles that
can assist you in determining how to set up the different functions, including how to use Shift with the controller to give you alternate inputs:
