    Hello,

    I pre-ordered my Xbox Series X console yesterday and now asking my self the question should i buy the Xbox elite Series 2 Controller.

    Is the Xbox elite Series 2 Controller next gen like the Series X controller, does the center button get the same share option or do i have to wait on a

    Xbox elite Series 3 Controller?

    I noticed the Xbox elite Series 2 Controller has the same dimensions as the Series X controller so i think it is meant to be next gen and designed to be current gen compatible

    Thank you for your post. The Xbox Series X will allow for backward compatibility with Xbox One controllers, meaning an Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 will work as normal with the Series X.
