Dont bother with replacements and just get a refund. I've had 8 of them (most recent being halo elite limited edition) and they all had the a button (and most of them Y button).

Microsoft just doesn't give a [mod removed]

Not good that, if I get the same issues with the replacement one, I'm just going to kick off and ask for a refund, then buy a brand new one from somewhere else to ensure it's new. Then failing that, switch to a competitor.

Maybe you'll get my controller that I just sent in. Kidding aside, sorry you are having the issue. It's a real bummer.

I’ve now just discovered that my most recent replacement has a sticky right thumb stick when pressing up or left. It’s smooth to the right and down. Left thumb stick is fine. This is definitely someone else’s reject. They are just cycling these messed up controllers through the mail back and forth between us all sending them in

Yeah been through that link, get as far as selecting the controller on the products page in your account, then you have to select an address. It's at this stage you get a website errors saying something went wrong try again later.

I think I might have found a work around though, started going through the virtual agent in the support section, that got me as far as submitting a replacement request, so I'll see what happens.

On the basic controller I trend to have the opposite issue in that pressing A sometimes registers a double press, again none of the other buttons do this just the A.
