Xbox Elite Series 2 - Constant Malfunctioning

So I've been buying Elite and Elite series 2 controllers through Gamestop with the replacement plan. I've had controllers out of the box with bad deadzones on the sticks and others last over 6 months before the dead zones go bad (stick drift). Not even going to talk about the series 1 just falling apart... With the pandemic killing electronic sales, it's becoming harder and harder for Gamestops to get me replacements. Has anyone had any luck with aftermarket controllers? I just have no faith left in Microsoft to put out a quality controller.

For context I can use a 2 year old PS4 controller with a much lower deadzone STILL to this day, this is definitely not a me problem, this is a hardware problem.

My biggest issue is I cannot contact MS support and get a timeframe on a replacement. How am I supposed to trust the warranty service, that I won't get a refurbished returned, or a controller with the same issue?

edit: when filling out a warranty request the page crashes. It also says "will replace with a similar device". How is MS a functioning company or is this level of CS normal?

If i buy an elite controller series 2 and its malfunctioning i'm going back to the store where i buy it. And i wil get a new one.

I would say yes. A lot of elite controllers (series 1 and 2) have several manifacturing problems, the most common are RB/LB malfunctioning and sticks.

Hey, I've had an elite controller pretty much since it came out. The only issue i hahad with it was the analog stick module malfunctioning after constant use

Hello Xbox community, I also purchased an Elite controller series 2 in december of 2019 & now after almost 3 months of normal competitive usage I have started to experience what seems to be a missclick “where the controller clicks when pressed however
DOES NOT register” when testing in Xbox Accessories. During competitive online matches, I have lost an abundance of times due to these missclicks or unregistered button presses to where now it is unplayable & feels cheaply made with a 179.99 price tag that
is unplayable after 3 months of usage. My controller is never being used near or around food or water & is in perfect condition. I would like to get some help on fixing this issue as soon as possible as is it my my controller with specific custom settings.
