XBOX ELITE SERIES 2 Can't RMA again?

So i purchased an xbox series 2 elite and the A button kinda started not registering consistently after a couple months of owning it. I did an rma, microsoft sent a label and i sent it off. Got it back today and literally nothing was done, its the same controller with the exact same issue. There was no documentation with the RMA to say what was even done. And the controller has the same exact problem. Worse yet when I try to go back through the RMA process to send it again, it doesn't give me the option to RMA the controller only the accessories. . . . Furthermore, there is like literally no one to contact at microsoft about this. No live chat option, No call option because its after hours.

Super frustrating, don't know why I purchased this controller for the A button to stop working consistently. I don't know why nothing was done at all. Like I think literally nothing was done because when I got the controller back it paired right to my PC again, like it was never de-paired, which means they didn't really test it. Which means they probably like wiped down the button and sent it back? If even that.

Yeah tried RMA again and in the drop down I cannot choose the controller, only accessories, and they only give me the option to buy a new accessory pack. The device is still under warranty until 12/31/23. But Again cannot contact anyone at microsoft lol, cant start a new RMA request, can't chat w/ anyone at microsoft, and I cannot email them back via the automated email they sent me regarding the first RMA.

Unfortunately, your warranty period expired in February. For Elite Controllers, it's 12 months in the UK and 90 days in the US (unless purchased in an Elite bundle, which is 12 months). If you attempted the RMA process prior to the warranty expiring, customer
support might make an exception.

Personally, I would keep contacting support regardless of the warranty period expiring, as Microsoft knows these controllers are defective. In the US, there was an unofficial program offering a one-time free replacement to Series 1 owners.

For anyone else reading this response in the future:

Never buy Xbox Elite Controllers, including Series 2. They are overpriced and faulty.

I have exactly the same issue with the new Series 2 controllers. I ordered the Electronic Volt version, but had to refund it because of the mentioned problem. Then I ordered the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, thinking a 150€ controller sure can't have these problems, but I was wrong.

So here I am, stuck my old Elite Series 1 controller that still works after several years, but starts to show wear, and I can't upgrade to Series 2 without winning the series-2-build-quality-lottery.

There was a new update released, can you try updating your Elite Series 2 controller again?

I also have the Elite Series 2 controller and I do not run into these issues when using it with the PC.
