Xbox Elite Series 2 button remapping support

You should be able to do it.

Please, follow these steps:

Open the Xbox Accessories app.

Scroll to your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 and select Configure.

Select a profile to adjust or create a new one.

Select the Edit button and in the Mapping tab select the icon or letter for the button or input you’d like to change.

Select Primary and in the pop-up menu select the Key tab.

In this menu you can remap a single keyboard key with as many of the listed modifier keys as you want. Use Assign a key to choose the keyboard key you want mapped to the controller button or input and then select as many of the modifier key checkboxes as desired for the following: Shift, Ctrl, Alt, Win.

What do you mean by changing the actions? By remapping the buttons you change what action they do in game. You can also remap the included paddles from the default ABXY face buttons. This is all done through the Xbox Accessories App which you can download
from the Microsoft Store and you have the May 2019 update (ver 1903). It is recommended to configure the controller on the PC using the included micro USB cable.

One of our Support team, mentioned a solution that is easy and fast to do. May we know if anyone from here have tried to do remapping their Controller's button? Now, this advance Controller offers exclusive option to create profile to customize button mapping that you can do using Xbox Accessories app. Here are steps on how to create a controller profile:

1. Using your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, open the Xbox Accessories app.
   
2. Scroll to the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, then select Configure.
   
3. Select New profile, give your profile a name, then configure your changes. For example, if you reassign D-pad down  on the face of the controller to the Y button , then the D-pad down  will act as the Y button  going forward.
   
4. When you’re done, press the B button  for the changes to take effect.
   

Create multiple profiles in the app and switch between them using the built-in Profile button.

1. Open the Xbox Accessories app, scroll to the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, then select Configure.
   
2. In Profiles, select a controller profile you’ve created or create a new one.
   
3. Choose a slot.
   

You can assign a slot for up to three profiles. Press the Profile button on the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller 2 to switch between them. When no bars appear lit below the Profile button, the controller is using the default button mapping.

Assign Shift key button:

Assign buttons to act as shortcuts for system actions like “Record that” and “Take screenshot.” When you select a button to remap, choose Primary or Shift, go to the Action tab, then choose an action from the list. When you’re done, press the B button  for the changes to take effect.

Note System actions are currently not available on Windows 10.

I understand that you'd like to remap your Xbox controller while it's connected to an Android device via Bluetooth. While I know this might be unexpected, unfortunately, there’s currently no official way to remap controller buttons on Android. The Xbox Accessories app, which allows remapping, only works when the controller is connected via USB to a Windows PC or Xbox console.

If remapping is essential, you could connect the controller to a PC using a wired connection and configure it through the Xbox Accessories app. Just note that only certain controllers, like the Xbox Elite Series 2, can store remap profiles and carry them over when used with other devices.
