    Xbox elite series 2 button registration issue


    I was told to post this here from a moderator on r/Microsoft. I am having problem with my elite series 2 controller where some of the buttons, particularly a and y, are not always registering. I have had to have my controller replaced and I am on my 5th controller with the exact same issue. Has anyone found any solution to this or know what the issue could be?

    Edit: just so people know I am having this problem on pc. I have tried 4 different computers that all have the same issue. I have had the problem while wired and Bluetooth. The main game I play is rocket league. I also notice it in the Xbox accessories button test app. This also is an issue other people have had on other subreddits and forums.

    I     tried to fill out repair order, but, as mentioned above, those are the only options i got.

    Bumper IS a known issue, as you can see.

    Btw., it doenst matter what caused 2 years warranty, it is in place and i'm in the right to use it.

    Thank you for this; the issue is that the pair button on the Series X does not work most of the time. It just does not start the pairing process; I have multiple older Xboxs including the Xbox One X and the Xbox One Elite and neither had an issue pairing
    the Elite 2.

    I have 2 elite series 2, my rubber knobs on the hair trigger locks came off too.
