Xbox elite series 2 bumper issue

Discus and support Xbox elite series 2 bumper issue in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; Im having trouble with my bumbers activating twice when it is only pushed once.     Im having trouble with my bumbers activating twice when it is only pushed once. This is unplayable and game changing. Is there anyway I could fix this?

    I     tried to fill out repair order, but, as mentioned above, those are the only options i got.

    Bumper IS a known issue, as you can see.

    Btw., it doenst matter what caused 2 years warranty, it is in place and i'm in the right to use it.

    Series 2 Elite controller- any specifics on improvements regarding known problems?

    I was disappointed in the Elite when my bumper buttons broke. Also the rubber grips coming off as well. Hopefully these issues are & will be fixed for series 2.

    You can try very gently to try to clean the space between the bumpers and the controller.

    This is a Series 2 controller and has the same faulty bumpers and buttons as the Series 1. I was hoping that Microsoft was giving loyal customers a break and extending the warranty periods out to cover these common issues on the Series 2 $180 isn't exactly
    cheap.

    Yeah the Elite Series 2 was basically improved from feedback of users of the Elite Series 1

    Many problems were fixed including the bumpers and the grip that also came loose after some time

    Hope to get an Elite Controller one day :)
