Xbox Elite no longer vibrates in Destiny 2, can feel sluggish at times

First and foremost the vibrate function in Destiny 2 stopped working a few weeks ago, but still works in all other games. I am on the latest firmware, have changed batteries, changed settings in game, uninstalled/reinstalled the game but still no change.

In addition controller is starting to feel sluggish at time lately, even with high sensitivity setting.

Controller wont vibrate on destiny

My xbox one controller setting is set on vibrate on destiny and everything. The controller has no issue vibrating on call of duty and like so other games but on destiny it will not vibrate which is very irritating. The vibration settings are on and I have
reset the game many times. Any help would be GREAT!

Weird rumble feedback new Xbox One controller

Today I received my brand new Xbox One controller to play games on my Windows 10 PC.

Every time when the controller vibrates, it does not feel right at the beginning of every vibration. It is like the motors need to make a few cycles before it can vibrate smoothly. So, for like the first 0.5 seconds a vibration starts, it doesn't vibrate
very smoothly. You can feel the motors rotating. I don't know if it is just me.. or that I have a defective controller.

Am I the only one? Do I have a defective controller?

I would go into the Xbox Accessories app where you can turn off the vibration via the system settings, turn off your console and unplug the console for 30 seconds, reboot and turn back on the vibration on, on the Xbox Accessories app.

Is anyone else having an issue when playing Destiny 2 and using the Xbox Companion app to stream to pc, with regards to the vibrations no longer occurring on the Elite series 2 controller?

I've got a similar issue. I don't stream, i just play D2 on my xbox one and I've noticed that the controller will frequently stop providing vibration feedback while playing, even when the controller is fully charged. Firmware is the latest version, console
is updated, vibration settings are maxed in the controller settings and turned on in game.

Outside of the game, the vibration works as it should 100% of the time so far. But it's inconsistent in-game. It'll just stop providing feedback, usually for hours at a time.

Hi, there is a setting in the xbox one to turn on and off controller vibrations but I'm not ruling out Destiny because Destiny also has controller vibration settings.

I'd start with Destiny settings first.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then select Profile & system > Settings.

- Select Accessibility > Controller, and then select Vibration settings.

- Choose the controller you want to change and select Configure.

For an Elite or Elite Series 2, select the configuration profile you want to change, select Edit > Vibration, and then move the sliders to adjust the vibration.

For an Xbox Wireless Controller, select Turn on vibration to turn vibration on or off.

You Can change in game menu. There are also some models of controller that let you manage sensivity vibration etc. for example Xbox Elite controller series 1 and series 2
