    Hello there, Xbox employees and community.

    So i was playing GTA V with a friend of mine, and suddenly my Elite controller fell out so i went to pick up the cable, plugged it in and nothing happened. Braided cable or not they will break anyways, just like my Sabertooth. So my question now is; is there
    any way to get the micro-USB cable that came with the Elite without buying the Elite itself? I looked all over and couldn't find anything.

    XBox One controller's charge port - what kind is it?

    I want to purchase a micro-USB cable in order to connect the controller to the PC or XBox One. But I found out there are many types of Micro-USB:

    Micro-A, Micro-B, etc.

    Can anyone tell me what kind of Micro-USB is the one in the controller's front port, so I don't purchase a useless cable?

    You can purchase the USB to Micro-USB cables online from amazon for example. Xbox/Microsoft does not sell just the cable itself.

    Hi,

    I u understand that the Series X controller will be using a USB C connector to charge the battery (same as the Elite 2 controller), so charging stations that use micro USB won't work.

    The connection for the Elite controller would have to be to an Xbox One console, via Micro-USB to USB, or via Bluetooth. Are you having trouble with the Shield detecting Bluetooth?

    Which is better: Wired or Wireless Controllers?

    I have an Elite that I use exclusively but I have it permanently connected via micro-USB cable. That way I never have to worry about batteries running out at the wrong moment.
