    Me and my coworker was talking and he was telling me how he gets all these beta codes to try new games and he was telling me that he is an "XBOX Elite Member" and he said he doesn't know how to make me a member so I was wonderin, how do I become a member.

    At the budget have you considered the Thrustmaster TX? Its suppose to be much better.

    Its worth keeping an eye on Fanatec on Black Friday, it will cost more but it will be far superior and will hold its value.

    As much as I was looking forward to this when it hopefully makes its way to Xbox, the disappointment of waiting for it has definitely been cured by Elite which is shaping up to be very special.

    Will still get it when it makes its way over here but I'm more than happy to go and discover the mysteries of the galaxy in Elite.

    I think your co-worker is feeding you a line of crap. There are betas out there from time to time. You can try to get into the preview program for some other projects. Beta info and stuff can always be found on twitter and other social sites.

    I get into betas quite a lot just by having an account at various game developers websites plus if there is a beta sign up you can usually rely on someone posting the details on these forums.

    I guess their argument is that Elite members get the DLC for free, you are paying for Elite and not the DLC. I wonder what will happen when they release the Map packs for non-elite members.
