Xbox Elite Mapping not working

I connected the Xbox elite controller to my pc and remapped it so that I could disable B and use B as P2 the bottom left paddle. However when I am in-game it only goes to the default as if I didn't remap the controller. Any suggestions? please help

EDIT: I HAD TO SET THE MAPPING IN ONE OF THE SLOTS. HOPE THAT HELPS SOMEONE!

Well after your Elite membership has expired you are still able to use the maps, so i would assume it works the other way round too if you buy Elite after the maps have come out.

I understand the financial burden of having to buy multiple copies of a game so everyone with an Xbox in the same house can play at the same time. The Family pack was just to make it less expensive for 4 member house holds.

My point is simply that, in the past, the "sharing" of DLC on one Xbox was not intended though could be worked around. As said earlier "They closed the loop hole" and just for paying Elite members. You're not paying for Elite just to get the map packs cheaper,
but also to have earlier access to those maps. Some would feel cheated if non-Elite members got the same privilege

When the map packs come out for non-Elite members in March, I would bet that they can be shared the same as DLC in the past.

And FWIW I think Elite is just a poorly thought out money maker. From what I've heard it doesn't work half the time and the "extras", as you have pointed out, don't even work. I will not or ever purchase Elite.

Actually my friend has elite and all i do is copy the maps onto my flash drive from his xbox and from the flash drive i copy them onto my xbox hd.I dont have elite premium at all as I find it to be a waste of money. I dont have the newer maps that elite
members have but i have the maps that are released to the public.

The Elite map maps are different from regular maps. They are like avatar items and ONLY the account that has the Elite membership can use the maps. You do not actually purchase them. You purchase the right to use them. If you stop your Elite subscription
before they stop releasing content for MW3, you don't keep the maps. If you look in the fine print on the Elite subscription, you only own the maps if you have an Elite subscription when they stop releasing more content for MW3.
